Adama is a premium artisan bakery coming to Munich, rooted in Israeli and Mediterranean baking traditions. Every loaf is shaped by hand, using organic ingredients, seasonal flavors, and recipes that carry memory and meaning.
The name Adama means earth in Hebrew — the ground beneath us, the place we come from. It stands for rootedness, authenticity, and a deep connection to craft, ingredient, and tradition.
The Baker
I’m Hagar Papushado.
A trained chef and baker with experience in professional kitchens across Tel Aviv, New York and Copenhagen, including Lachmanina, Aska, The Modern and Kadeau. My culinary philosophy is built on respect for ingredients, simplicity, and process. Adama is where my culinary background meets my home in Munich. It is personal, it is honest, and it is made with care.
